b.1999
Operating at the intersection of fashion, art, design and culture, my practice moves between journalism, research, writing, communications and strategic development.
Originally trained in Art History at University of York, where I specialised in fashion theory and histories - with a particular focus on the decline of corsetry and the changing waistline of women’s dress in Victorian England - I later embarked in an MA in Arts & Cultural Enterprise at University of the Arts London. This academic foundation shaped an approach that combines critical inquiry with commercial and cultural strategy, and has since led to collaborations with creative businesses, galleries, and cultural institutions across communication strategy, creative consultation, and project development.
With words across Vogue, Wallpaper*, Porter, AnOther, Dazed, ICON and other international publications, my editorial contributions span criticism, reportage, profiles, essays and cultural analysis. I’m particularly drawn to examining the ways culture intersects with its neighbouring disciplines, using writing as a means of exploring meaning, context and contemporary relevance. This led me to launch Zosia, a substack and editorial outlet, sharing cultural and personal observations.
Alongside editorial work, I develop communication frameworks and textwork for fashion, design and cultural clients, spanning press releases and campaign language, to exhibition texts, artist biographies and broader strategic communications. Recent clients include Neous, Sea New York, AZ Factory, Hofmann Copenhagen, Jameson, and Appleton Estate.
On top of freelance practice, I bring seven years of in-house experience across PR and communications in the Nordic region, having worked at both specialist and managerial level with brands including Ferm Living and Tom Wood. Offering insights into the industry, I have been featured in SPUR Magazine, Condé Nast Traveller, Le Monde, and others.
